7-11,Aliens,and guitar playing hippies

"Hey,Punkin' Duncan.What's shaking?"The clerk said,leaning on the counter.She had teal and black stripped hair and was wearing a god-awful 7-11 print shirt.There was even a white Lily-of-the-Valley tucked behind her ear."Come back for another caffeine fix?"
I wasn't close enough to see her nametag,so I just said "Of course,Princess..."
She laughed,"I'm "princess" now?What happened to Sunshine?"
"A person can have more than one nickname,Gwen."I pulled a chair up to the counter.She raised an eyebrow at me.
"What happened to giving up and getting out of town?"
I panicked.What would this Duncan do?I said the first thing that popped into my mind."Well,I couldn't just leave without seeing my favorite girl one last time,now could I?"
"You spoil me,Duncan."
"You want to go see that new Alien flick they are running down at the theater,Sunshine?"
"Well,of course!I heard that they used real human body parts in the nest."Gwen tosses the keys(presumably to the store) over her shoulder to a guy I can only assume is her co-worker.I say assume because he isn't in a 7-11 shirt like Gwen,but he's probably just starting his shift.
"Why hello to you too,Gwen."He says giving her a small smile,but he gives me a glare instead.His swoopy black hair falls into his green eyes,and it looks like he has a guitar on his back.Damn hippie.
Gwen steps out from the bathroom where she was changing out of her uniform.Her attire was much more casual this time,a pair of dark flared jeans and a denim blue shirt.
"You look nice tonight,bunny."I spit out desperately trying to fit in this parallel.Suddenly,my LeapSkip watch buzzed.Someone was here.I had to go.
"Never mind;I gotta jet."
"Good Night,John-boy."
